We really got a lot of stuff done this weekend! OK, so maybe Jason really got a lot of stuff done! I did get the socks folded! Oh, Mike, it's hard to buy all the same socks when you have a husband that will only wear "Gold Toe" and I'm not going to spend that much money for the boys to ruin them. Plus I'm a woman so I have to have the Hanes with the pink toe! Silly! Good try though!
Baseball is still going! Jarrett's team has lost two close games now! Poo! Poor old Brandon's team hasn't won a game yet! I blame that on the coaching. All the boys have improved so much it's hard to blame them! I would really like to vent about Jarrett's coaches but you never know who might be reading this! LOL If you want the dirt on that come sit by me during a game! It drives Jason nuts!
I'm really ticked off at certain people that read my blog! You know who you are! They oh so innocently got me and Brandon addicted to "Farm Town" on Facebook! Now when I drive by a field or cows I think "Gosh, that's just like my farm!" I'm loosing it! Ha, Ha, Ha!
On a more serious note....Brandon's teacher came up to me, at one of their games, and said that she has noticed that Brandon has been really thirsty lately. I told her that I noticed that for the last two weeks but she said it has been going on in her class for about a month. She said that he is the only student she has ever had that asked to keep a cup of water at their desk. She also said that he has been going to the bathroom a lot lately. Those are both signs of diabetes. She thinks he needs to be checked. I told her that I have been keeping an eye on him but haven't noticed any other signs like bed wetting or weight loss. He is always hungry! I really hope he doesn't have it! Diabetes does run on my side and on Jason's side.
Stacie is going to bring me some test strips to check his urine. Her son is one year younger than Brandon. He has had diabetes since he was four. I have seen some of the stuff that they have had to go through with him and I don't want that for Brandon. I wish her son didn't have to go through it either! I do know that it will be easier for me than it was for Stacie because I will have her. She had nobody to help her through, that had experience!
So anyway.....Off to Farm town! Oh, yeah! That little baby is doing great. He poops on me every time I hold him! LOL

This farm thing can get out of hand, and it needs some adversity too, like livestock eating crops, pests, bad weather, and so on. Still as a game its no worse than cribbage, just that you can't chat well doing it.
I'll pray for Brandon. Its tough enough being a kid these days.
Oh no I hope he doesn't have it! I remember my friend's husband finding out he had diabetes cause he was so thirsty all the time. I see you sent me a cow or something on fb...I wondered what that was all about. lol
Poor kiddo! Hope it isn't diabetes!!!!
