Once again my little blog has caused some drama. I don't mind people sharing my blog. That's what it is there for. But please, please, please, if you read something that upsets you, TALK TO ME! We really could have avoided some drama.
A blog is like an opinion column in a newspaper. You don't have to agree with it. If you don't agree, by all means, leave a comment. I'm not always right but my opinion is my opinion. It's not yours, Great Aunt Sally's, or my neighbor's. It Is Mine, Mine, Mine!
Just to clarify what the issue was.......A few parents got upset about the last entry. They thought I was talking about their kids. I was not. I did not use names. Plus anyone that knows me, knows that I would never do that to a child. My children come first no matter what! And I try to treat the kids friends the same way! As a matter of fact I am one of those parents that is harder on my own kids than anyone elses.
With the exception of the actual baseball games, all the other situation as the end of the blog were fictional! Tina, Lisa, Becky, Barbie, Jack, and Teddy are not meant to portray and specific kid! Or any child on either ball team! Those were my way of putting situation out there to get feedback! How would you handle that? We have all been there in one form or another. On that day we were in two situation, one as a parent and one as a coach. I saw both sides! That was the point of the blog!
Like I have said before...If you don't like what you read, then don't read it! If you have a problem, come to me. Now I feel that all the parents on the team think I am some horrible person just because I have an opinion! Well so be it! I guess this isn't the first time and won't be the last! I have a strong personality and have learned to live with it. I'm not the smile and be nice type of person!
One last thing...If I EVER find out that someone is holding my actions against My child, there will be HELL to pay! My boys come first and I would rather die than to let someone judge them, hurt them or whatever because of me!
